This standard, organized by the National Technical Committee on Mechanical Safety Standardization and the National Technical Committee on Work Safety Standardization, and led in drafting by Guangdong Wright Housewares Co., Ltd., has passed expert review. As one of China's mandatory national standards for the ladder industry, the revision of GB 12142, "Safety Requirements for Portable Metal Ladders," holds significant importance in regulating industrial production and ensuring consumer safety.


